A Book List For "Beginners"

A few days ago I was asked to create a book list for my readers who are looking to become more conscious, conscious of what you ask? That is for you to decide, I know that in my experience the following books helped open my mind to the limitless possibilities of this existence.

To me, reading, is sort of like traveling, you better yourself with sights, sounds & feelings you were not previously aware of, you voyage to new lands bathed in new understanding all within the confines of the gift that is your mind.

Your nourish your Self.

So with that being said my plan is to monthly post 3 books that I have read that provided brilliant wood for the fire that burns within. I choose 3 because I do not want to overload my audience by any means, but I am requested to post more I will have no qualms in doing so. I hope these titles open your eyes to diamonds within yourself.

Feel free to contact me in any way you see fit for further discussion on any of these pieces, I would greatly enjoy fresh insight on what so grew me. Debates are always welcome.

Disney's banking off of your ignorance.

This irks me. Plain old and simple extreme "irkage". So this morning I woke up (feeling like money of course) and I went downstairs to retrieve my mail from my post box, my neighbor, who we're going to call Sandra and has 3 little boys and a girl, was also there doing the same thing. She sparked conversation like the trifling bitch she is and acted as if she did NOT call the cops to my birthday party, but I digress, she was gushing about this whole Disney's first 'black' princess movie, and about how her daughter isn't going to idolize all those white princesses any more and about how she's going to get back in touch with her 'roots'.

Above this passage is the official poster for the Disney's "The Princess and the Frog", see the princess? Black. The frog? Fuck if I know. The snake? Recycled from the Jungle Book. The crocodile? Recycled from Peter Pan. That creepy hot yellow tall guy? Recycled from Meet the Robinsons. That juju priestess? Recycled from Hercules. 

I'm not African American, so maybe I just don't understand what the big deal about having a 'black' princess is, I see no step ladder to equality here. For goodness sake you have a black president, are you sure this whole "we're not equal" stigma isn't just a figment of your over worked imaginations? There are some extremely racist idiots out there, but news flash people they're dying out and on top of that, who the fuck cares?! YOUR PRESIDENT IS BLACK. 

Either way Disney is gonna be profiting so much off of this, money that isn't going to go back into your pockets and help the "poor black community". Why is Disney gonna make so much money?

Because mothers like Sandra are going to take their children to see this movie not because it's a good story, but because the bitch is black and now she feels they can better relate. Relate to what I ask? Kissing a fucking frog? And talking to poisonous animals? 

I've noticed a lot of things about race in this country my stay here, all the rules, all the prejudices and most of the so called "racism" is self inflicted. And don't tell me Oprah is backing this, Oprah isn't GOD. 

There's a new dawn people and you all have your backs turned to it. Now a days it's no longer "it's cause I'm black" now it's straight "because I'm living in the idiotic stereotype". 

I'm not going to see a movie just because the bitch is black, this isn't a new dawn for civil rights, it's a new dawn for Disney's bank account.
