My thought processes vary greatly, I have my incredibly shallow moments, closely followed by my uber deep ones.
The igbo helps along with that as well.
But I would like to touch on the second thought.
So all the big money makers are failing, and because they're failing and because they've been the big money makers for centuries now the planet seems to be under the impression that the end of them means the end of everything, and I have to encapsulate the fact that this is not at all true.
When I left Atlanta, I was basically a broke college student, up to my neck in fucking college loan payments, barely had any extra cash (which may be due to the fact that I spent it all on clothes and shoes but we aren't talking about that) and honestly, really and truely felt all the talks about the recession, I mean it's different being the only broke one, but then when you look up and realize that almost everyone around you is just as broke is quite scary. I honestly, FELT the recession, so when I boarded the plane to my home I expected the same view back home.
But honestly? We are not falling apart. We are no broker than we were, we are richer though. A lot of things are being built here, all these high rise apartments, and hotels, even the Prince of Saudi Arabia is building here. Money is always being spent, I see at least 10 brand new Ranger Rovers on a bad day. I never saw that many in Atlanta, at least not in 1 day.
All these prophecies of doom and destruction just cause the white man is going broke doesn't mean a damn thing here, because all those white boys stealing money from the failing companies are going to come invest it here. They're going to run to countries like Ghana. And imagine, say if Coca Cola completely fails.
What happens?
Our dependance on that product is eradicated of course, but Coca Cola isn't the only soft drink company in the world. It is the largest to be sure, but there is ALWAYS something to replace it.
It's simply time for a new age, a new distribution of the power you have been hoarding for hundreds of years now.
America is not the entire world. Europe is not the entire world. There are hundreds, if not thousands of countries on the planet.
Just step down gracefully and accept the change.
