... what exactly do you believe? Like as far as God is concerned?

I was a raised a nondenominational Christian. But like many I became discouraged by my teachers lack of tolerance and fear of questioning. I still am Christian to some degree, my own personal belief is developing into something that isn't readily defined by any popular religion today. I follow the Buddhist doctrine, I draw from Gnostic early Christians and after reading the history of the creation of all supreme religions all I can say when asked this question is simply;

I believe.

I concede that in reality I know nothing, and all I have is my faith, I believe that enlightenment is available in the here and now, that the Kingdom is available in the here and now and that much of what we know and are taught as Christians only creates confusion and dissension from the ultimate truth. And that any claim to hold the monopoly on "truth" is human folly.

I live by the age old saying "Do unto them as you would have them do unto you" and it has afforded me a greater peace than all the Sunday schools I got kicked out of ever will.

I am an eager student of all religions and I'm open to any interpretation of the greater power. Both within the human race and outside of it.

I feel as though I've been ambiguous, I hope it hasn't confused you but that only reflects the simplicity of my own personal spiritual doctrine.

Ask me anything

  1. For ne its easy: There is nothing. I was raised in ghana for a while and my family is 100 christian..but they have never been able to indoctrinate me into that belief. There nothing...no god. And I think it is really sad some humans a god or some kind of being to have morals and do the right thing. I good deed from an atheist is the purest! he does not expect anything back not noe, and not in this so called afterlife!
